Black History Heroes

This cake was made and designed by me & my little sister. It was our donation to our local Big Brother, Big Sister monthly event. She helped w/everything!! (This is the cake I was having all the problems w/the edible images aarrgghh!). The color turned out HORRIBLE...it was suppose to be a nice antique yellow...but forgot AMERICOLORS...are awesome!! And the color deepened ALOT after I let it sit!! But we had a lot fun making it and the BBBS loved it!!!

well its funny b/c I thought it kinda looked like cheese....then when we were at the event I heard someone ask why they decorated a block of cheese!!! I'm just glad Kiera didn't hear it though...she may have been upset b/c i screwed up the color!! It may have been ok if I had done the cake board in another color...but w/the color we were ATTEMPTING...gold would have been perfect!!
