omy these are beautiful, I love em
VERY impressive!! They look real!
Dogwoods have special meaning for me. I love these. Good work!
My son died when he was 15 and he used to go out in the woods every spring to cut dogwood for my mom. That is the main reason we want to use it for my daughter's wedding cake. Have a little bit of Josh there!
omg.....how beautiful.......I'm so sorry for your loss, I also had a son die(at birth)....what a beautiful to incorporate him into the celebration....and your flowers are gorgeous!!!!!!!!!
Perfect!! How did you make them? Just lovely!! Sorry for your loss. I am sure that he will be blessing the wedding day from above!
Beautiful. Can you e-mail me on how you made them. Thanks.
I appreciate all your kind words. I have spent a lot of time on the dogwood, but couldn't have made them without the veiner set from Sunflower. I got it from Sugarcraft, Inc. After the blossoms were dry, I used white petal dust on the entire flower and then put a mixture of one part plum to two parts cinnamon petal dust for the "blood". The centers I pushed through nylon net and "painted" with yellow petal dust with juniper green tips. I can't take credit, it just takes practice.
