My Daughter's Birthday Cake

I made this cake for mu daughter's birthday party. I tried to do something slick but it did not work exactly as planned. The laft side is chocolate and the right is butter golden. The chocolate rose higher then butter. BUT! everybody loved it and did not even notice my typo.

This is a great cake! If I could only draw like your wife, I wouldn't have had to buy a blues pan! Great job!

very cute. I learned a trick from this site that when you take the cake out of the oven, use something to press down the top a little to level it out. It works great. also about the typo, I did the EXACT same thing on my daughters bday cake, and a large banner i made for her as well. No one noticed at the time, but the cake and the sign are in just about every single photo! Too funny

The idea was a good one to do two flavors in one! Looks good!
