This is for a friend's daughter's 29th birthday. It is a white cake with white chocolate bc, white chocolate shavings on the top. I think (?!) I'm happy with it!

Mpaigew, can you explain how you did the choco trans sheets please. I've done the choco trans with the wax and parchment. Is this any different? Nice job looks like wrapping paper.

ok-I think this deserves a tutorial or something of a helping hand to those who have no clue how you did those beautiful sides!!!! This cake is verrrry pretty

Basically, you cut the sheet to whatever height/length you need, pour melted chocolate (make sure it's pretty hot or else the design won't come off) on the textured side of the sheet, and place in the fridge for about 5-10 minutes (just until you can pick the sheets up without the chocolate dripping off.) You then wrap the strips around the cake and place the cake in the fridge until the chocolate has completely set. Take it out and peel off the plastic! Voila, you have a design!

Very pretty, but you lost me. Sheet????? and what design, from where? Sorry I am not following you! I haven't done this before! Thank you for the info though.

They are chocolate transfer sheets; it's kind of like a sheet of plastic (mine were 15inx11in) that has an edible design. After the chocolate has set up, the design comes off onto it.
