This is the second horse cake I have done. Used the lamb pan and modified it with fondant to look like a horse. The little girl loved it-

grams- go for it! it is really not as hard as it looks. If you don't have the lamb pan, you could use a loaf pan- the legs and the nose are fondant- then the whole thing is covered in fondant-
