my first official wedding cake! this was for my mom's wedding this past saturday. top and bottom tier are white cake with raspberry filling. the middle tier was chocolate with chocolate mouse. all of its is iced with italian buttercream. i am so thrilled with how it turned out and appreciate everyone's feedback.
Very pretty! What a great job with smoothing too!
Simple, yet elegant.
Beautifull cake and the smoothing looks so good.
This is a Beautiful cake. Its so eligant & shiney. Your mom must have been proud!
so elegant.. how do you make the raspberry filling? And, what prompted you to use italian buttercream instead of regular buttercream? I'm making a wedding cake for May and I'm still looking for ideas. thanks!
good job!
Wonderful job!
gorgeous
Beautiful! Love it!!!
I love it! It is elegant and simple. I love the shine also. I was wondering what recipe you used for the Ital. bc? Also, did you use it for the dots and details? One more question...Do you happen to know what type of leaves those were? They look great!
Absolutely fabulous!
Beautiful!!!!
thank you all so much! the italian buttercream is much lighter and richer (if that's possible) than a regular buttercream and that was one of the only strict requests my mom had. I used the buttercream for the details as well. I unfortunatly do not know what type of leaves those were. I will post the recipe for the buttercream.
very very nice!! I bet your mom was thrilled! Good Job! :)
Beautiful job. Nice touch with the leaves!
I love the shine of the IMBC and it tastes so good too!
