Made this for my stepmom for her birthday. She loves photography and this is her camera. Relatively pleased with how it turned out. I only had about 3 hours to really work on it before delivery (with distractions - a toddler!) so it could have been better. I'm also not crazy about the lens (too big) but after getting it covered and the time crunch I was under, I just decided to work with what I had. She loved it anyway, in spite of the imperfections. I carved it from a single layer sheet cake which I cut into three pieces then stacked. Lens was made with RKT. Would love to attempt it again at some point and really perfect it - add some metallic accents and a strap. This is also my second time ever piping royal icing, which I think was too thin. Much to learn!! :)
