I made this cake for my 40th wedding anniversary. 12", 9" and 6" tiers. Bottom tier was my moist yellow cake, middle tier was red velvet and top tier was a gluten free Italian cream (since I'm gluten intolerant.) That top tier was so heavy that part of the middle tier collapsed on the way to the church. I had to stick a knife in the back to hold up the top tier. (see second pix) Fortunately the front of the cake was not damaged and I was able to display it.
