NAIDOC is a special celebration for Aboriginal people in Australia. It includes celebrations, corroborees and raising of the flag. This years NAIDOC is Spirit of the Tent Embassy - 40 years on and celebrates the erection of the tent embassy in Canberra 40 years ago and that the spirit of our people continues today. This cake was made for the Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital in celebration of their NAIDOC event. The cake is banana cake, ganache, fondant and all decoration is royal icing. The tent is modelling icing.
