Peanut butter cupcake with a salted caramel buttercream, drizzled with a dark chocolate sauce and topped with roasted, salted peanuts
It's just a white cake mix with a couple big glops of peanut butter, 4 eggs, a splash (1/4 cup or so) of veg oil, some sour cream and some buttermilk ( I was cleaning out the fridge). The batter is a bit thicker than normal. I had a 5-lb block of caramel so I lopped off a piece and tossed it in a pan with some heavy cream. Stirred until smooth and salted to taste. Cooled it and added to some leftover buttercream. The chocolate sauce is just jarred ice cream topping. Easy peasy.
