Stained Glass Cake on Cake Central

Iced with cream cheese icing. Flowers are first outlined with royal icing then filled with colored piping gel.

I've actually been trying to find time to practice this technique from Colette Peters...She does amazing work, and her books are good instruction tools...You did a nice job with the technique...Did you buy pre-mixed, or did you go through the ordeal of mixing yourself...Good job!

Thanks for your comments. I did follow the instructions from Colette Peters book. Transfering the pattern by pinpricking it onto the cake was tedious. But I think it turned out pretty good. I colored piping gel instead of purchasing the pre-colored writing gel.
