Coyotes
These were done for a photographer whose company name is "Coyote Photo". I've never seen a real coyote, so I had to look them up on the web. I think I should have gone more grey?! Mine look like foxes! hahaha
Anyway, all done in royal icing and the cameras are done in gumpaste painted with silver edible powder for the lens. Cutter is from "Off the Beaten Path" at www.cookiecutter.com

Amazing! Again! Antonia74, your work is always so perfect, I am inspired.
Are these made of gingerbread? I have never tried that before. Can you point us into the direction of the gingerbread recipe you like to use? You seem to have it going on in the cookie world, so your recommendation would be much appreciated!
VERY CUTE!!!!! :D
wow!!!!!!!!! those look great!!!!!
Awesome job!!
So cute! I have seen real coyotes(in the backyard!) and I would much rather have your cookies.
Those are beautiful! How did you get the feathered look...paintbrush??? Also, how do you get the royal so smooth...do you do it like colorflow?
Those are cool. And since I'm a photographer I really love the cameras. Great job!
Kitagrl, check out the article I wrote for this site. I give away all my secrets! No more outlining.I did use a paintbrush to get the furry look. It's kind of like the technique of "brushed embroidery" in cake decorating.
antonia74...why did you use gumpaste for the camera and not icing? just curious... they look fabulous as always!!!
good question...I wanted them to be pretty flat against the cookies and the corners would appear much sharper if cut from gumpaste as opposed to piping by hand.
WOW! I want to do some boxer(dog) cookies. I'm going to give this brush technique a try. I LOVE these cookies! A big thanks for the cookie tutorial!
