Client requested a monkey cake incorporating the color purple for her daughter's 3rd birthday, with suggestions for the overall design but ultimately left to my discretion. Originally they requested purple chocolate flavored BC, but I just couldn't get the color to appear appetizing. I ended up with chocolate BC and banana pound cake inside. Purple was incorporated in the accents, all with fondant. Client's daughter was very pleased.
