Cooler Cake
This was a great cake...until the neighbor's dog at the entire thing before the guests could cut the cake! Yes, the dog was fine (and full!). The cake had already been delivered and paid for! Rock Candy Ice and BC on cardboard for the lid
Did you make the rock candy yourself? I have a cake I am doing next week and wasn't sure if I was going to do rock candy or clear gelatin and cut it into cubes.
I thought about gelatin, too. I bought the rock candy at a local candy store. It can be made, but it takes a week or two to make homemade. I would love to see your cake if you use the gelatin.

Yes, I drained the beer out of the bottom and cut the cans in half. They just slid right down into the cake, no need to waste cake to make room for them. This was messy, drain your beer cans outside!
