First Ever Fondant Cake!

This is my first EVER fondant cake. I made it for my sister-in-law's mum's birthday. The cake is a standard Victoria Sponge cake comprising of three layers with strawberry jam and buttercream inbetween each layer. Buttercream was then spread around the sides and top before the white fondant was rolled and put in place (the fondant is cracked and in places you can see the colour of the sponge through it or small holes appeared). Then pink and black fondant flowers and spots were placed on the cake and the black and pink strip to the bottom to hide any indiscretions. Overall not bad for my first try, I'm actually a little impressed but in future I want to handle the covering fondant less and roll it evenly and not too thin, also have a good scrapper for getting the excess buttercream off and have pins handy for popping those air bubbles! I hope that you will comment and let me know what you think and give me any pointers/advice. Thank you!
