awww!!!! that is soooo stinkin' cute!!!! I love it!!!
Wow! Looks wonderful! I just love the puppy, he looks very lifelike.
Thanks. The dog is cake too. I used the mini doll pan for the body, cupcake head, mini cupcake paws that were cut in half, and a mini bundt pan for the rump. The rest is all icing.
Oh, you almost made me cry. Our family dog from when I was growing up passed away this past fall and she was a maltese and looked just like that!! This is incredibly beautiful!!
You did a fantastic job! It is beautiful.
I too used to have a dog who looked just like this one. You did an excellent job making the dog look realistic! beautiful!
that is really cute
OMG ... that is too adorable ...we just got a maltese puppy for x-mas ..my kids would go bonkers!!! could you share instructions on how you did this?
sofiasmami, I just used buttercream to glue together the above-mentioned pieces of cake. I had to sculpt the head a little bit & use toothpicks to secure it, but other than that, it's just a big mound of buttercream. I used the Wilton tip #233 for the fur & black tip 12 eyes & nose.
How in the world could you cut and eat this cute little dog? Good job.
wow...this is so cute!! wonderful!!
I agree with all above .. not to forget your perfectly smooth icing! I wish I coudl get mine that nice.
