Made this cake on very short notice for my mom. A dishwasher at her work was leaving and this is what I came up with. I wish I had time to "tile" the board like their kitchen floor but it didn't happen.

Hey, that's a cool idea for a cake! And it looks amazing. I would add another gift to this, for example, French flatware, to amuse the person but also give him a good gift that will look stylish and will make him happy almost every day. It seems to me that giving beautiful dishes/tableware if you know people’s stylistic preferences is awesome.
