Princess Castle

Two Tier Choc Mud Cake with choc ganache. Decorated with RTR fondant and royal icing vines and flowers. Edible glitter. I made the towers out of cardboard the covered it in foil and fondant a week before making the cake. This gave them time to dry. I used a waffle cove as the tower roof and stuck it all together with royal icing. Next time I do a cake like this I would cut the sides away from the bottom tier so the towers can nest inside of the cake and have a bit more support. When I moved this cake ready to go to the party two of the towers fell off!!! OMG was I angry!
