Going away cake for school secretary. French vanilla cake and French vanilla buttercream. Top three bright red sunflowers are each based on one piece of an Oreo cookie. The acorns are done using caramels. All other flowers/leaves are fondant. The secretary had to fight to keep her decorations from disappearing with the other teachers! A fun cake to make. As always, there were flaws that jumped out at me but I had a lot of compliments on the cake. I would appreciate your comments.
