This was made for a friend at work and was almost my first cake disaster (3rd picture). Ended up saving the cake. Took 3 tries to cover the cake with fondant. The first 2 tries were using some dark blue fondant that kept cracking on me :( After tearing off the 2nd attempt I totally messed up the cake and had to start over. The second problem I had was too much filling so the cake kept sliding around. 3rd problem was the creamcheese icing is too soft. Finally finished the cake at 4am. End result turned out ok considering how late it was. Coconut cake with blueberry filling and coconut creamcheese icing.
