Albino Pumpkin Cascade Wedding Cake

Albino Pumpkin Cascade Wedding Cake on Cake Central

We did this one for a show. It actually is real cake covered in fondant; not a dummy. I did the p umpkins and my husband did the figurines out of sculpey. We wanted to show options different than the usual round or square cakes. The stems and leaves are all gilded in the 24 carat luster dust. Gumpaste tendrils.

Beautiful, as usual! Sculpey is a (wonderful!) polymer clay (oven bake)... other brands are Fimo, Cernet, & more!

ellepal all your cake are amazing, you and you're hubby are such wonderful artists. Just curious, were the bride and groom in this cake modelled after anyone? Because they are so life like. I wish my hubby was this artistic and would take interest in my cakes (sulk!!) : )

thanks! No, the figures were just people he imagined. It was a fun cake, but frustrating getting those fondant edges not to ripple on the pumpkins!
