This cake was for a little guy's Birthday who's wild about hunting! Vanilla buttermilk cake with vanilla buttercream filling covered in blaze orange fondant. I formed the deer head using rice krispie treats, coated with buttercream, then covered with white fondant, which I hand painted using diluted icing colors. The ears and antlers were gum paste that I painted using icing colors as well. The grass blades were all fondant. I also made coordinating cupcakes with hunting themed toppers as well :)
