This was made to celebrate a birthday and going away party for a guy who just joined the U.S. Coast Guard. Everything on the cake was edible. The railing was made from spaghetti the posts were covered with fondant, the rails were painted with white food color gel. The inflatable life raft boat was made from fondant.
