This was a rich fruit cake my mum made, I carved the top tier then marzipaned and fondonted it. It was for a display table with the theme silver wedding, Mum got suckered into doing the cake because hers always taste nice, but she doesnt decorate. We made mock ups with uncovered dummies and tissue paper flowers till mum liked the look of it.
