My mother-in-law asked me to make a cake for a friend's birthday. This is what I came up with. The flowers are all gumpaste, the only inedible parts are the ribbon and the wires fastening the flowers all together. The cake is a red velvet with a chocolate cream cheese filling. I still need work on my ruffling and string work as it is all still pretty new to me.
