Adirondack Hippie Cake

This cake was super custom tailored to my brother. The top of the cake is designed in such a way to represent an island that is located on a lake that my brother works on (Stoner Island on Canada Lake in the Adirondacks of New York). There are several prominent Norway spruce trees on the island that I made out of gumpaste, modeling chocolate, and floral wire (my apologies for setting up the cake against my mother's black refrigerator). Also on the cake: an Adirondack chair, dock, boat, and dock spiders! Around the outside of the cake are bumper stickers that are found on my brother's car. The outside sides of the cake were airbrushed. Cake was carrot with cream cheese frosting and white chocolate ganache. Thanks for looking!
