I made this by special request for a friend's daughter. Apparently she loves this villian from the Batman series named Poison Ivy. All I could find out about her is that she controls plants and is quite evil :) I made a TON of ivy leaves in advance, but when it came to decorating the cake I was kinda unsure of what I was going to do until I started. I winged it for the most part but was quite happy with how it turned out. Luckily the birthday girl was too. (And of course the doll itself is plastic, and her legs were burried in the 'dress'-- I'm not THAT good :)
