I made this cake for my boyfriend who recently started a collection of Abita Beer neon signs. I painted it with tonic water in an attempt to make it glow under black light, but unfortunately the buttercream icing absorbed it and it did not glow very well! I will use fondant next time I want to make a cake glow!
