Two layer basic white yogurt cake covered in purple buttercream; black zebra stripes in buttercream flavored fondant; decorations include feathers, glass diamonds and foam letter. In person, the purple buttercream and the letter are much closer in color. However, everytime I take a picture of a purple cake, the buttercream always looks more blue than purple in the picture. If anyone can give tips on how to correct this problem, I'd appreciate it. Do I need to adjust a setting on my camera or change the mix of colors I use to make the purple icing?
