This is the first cake that I made for a wedding and I was both excited and anxious. Both cake and cupcakes are red velvet with cream cheese frosting, covered with fondant. It was the first time that I covered the plate and I?m glad that I did. Aside from the practice cake that I made at a workshop this was the first time that I made cherry blossoms? but certainly not the last time. I?m so happy with how they turned out. The groom?s mom, who asked me to make it, was thrilled and so was the bride. Thanks to everyone on CC for the inspiration and thanks for looking.
