Fondant Drape

The bride asked me to coordinate the cake with the topper, her only request was that it was simple. It was a challenge for me, because I didn't really like the topper, but I'm fairly happy with how it turned out anyway.

I personally think the toppers are adorable...not exactly what I would put on my wedding cake, but its a beautiful cake!

Very nice cake! Love the drapery. But what the heck is that topper supposed to be??? You really had your work cut out for you with that one! You should be proud.

I agree, you did a very nice job on the cake, but what are those little creatures anyway?!? I love the border, I'm guessing you used a leaf tip? Very nice!!

Those little guys are called Pocket Dragons. I worked at a shop in Texas that sold them and they were highly collectible. Mostly a girly thing and they all love the expressions on the dragons faces. You did do a wonderful job at blending it with a cake! Great color matching!

Awwwww it's a pair of Pocket Dragons! :) How cute! My stepmother would LOVE it (she collects them) - you matched the colors perfectly!
