Fathers day cake I made for my dad. This is my first time doing the exploding cake and it was much easier than I imagined. I LOVED making this cake and look forward even more to eating it! It is vanilla sponge layered with hazelnut praline and pineapple swiss meringue buttercream, it is then covered in dark chocolate ganache and then fondant. The monogram I made out of pastillage then covered in glitter and broke it apart to look like it exploded too (ok ok you've got me, I didn't break it on purpose, it broke itself lol).
