I just love the rose swirl. When it was my turn to supply snacks for my son's junior high swing choir rehearsal, he asked me to make red velvet cupcakes. I used indydebi's bc recipe for the swirls. The kids mobbed me when I walked in with these. These cupcakes are really nothing special and were very easy to decorate, but they won snack of the year. :)
