Friend requested a baptism cake for granddaughter and left it up to me. After viewing so many cakes here on CakeCentral. I came up with this one. Diamond shaped, White cake on bottom with strawberry flavored buttercream center, and spice cake on top with cream cheese center. She didn't want a fondant cake, and I needed practice on the quilting on buttercream for a wedding cake I'm doing next month. The booties are of gumpaste, I made molds from foam. The gown is fondant and both airbrushed with pearl. Top was purchased from Hobby Lobby, had to paint white and added the baby's name.
