Such a unique cake today! The couple's invitations showed a country road shaded by tree canopies and the whole photo was in hues of red & burgundy. She wanted their wedding cake to reflect that image. So we cascaded a dark red fondant path down the front and added random tree silhouettes handcut from fondant and gave them brushstrokes of burgundy color for depth. Pink, purple and red rock candy crumbles added a pop of color. Definitely one of the more unique designs I've been asked to come up with! :-) Sorry the photo isn't super sharp... Tfl!
