This is my first attempt at a "stage cake." I always wanted to try this style of cake. Thanks to MUM33t for the beautiful example. My bottom cake is 2 10 inch round chocolate layers. My top cake is one 10 inch vanilla layer cut in half and stacked. Each cake has vanilla pudding and bananas inside. I put lots of dowels in the lower cake for support. It seems quite stable. Cupcakes are choc and vanilla with fondant toppers. I styled them after some toppers I saw on bluecupcake.com. She does beautiful work. TFL!
