Happy Cinco de Mayo!! 3-tier topsy-turvy cake. Bottom tier is dark chocolate kahlua cake with kahlua filling, frosted with pina colada buttercream. Middle and top tiers are margarita cake filled and frosted with fresh lime buttercream. Decorations are fondant, gumpaste and royal icing. Oh, and a fresh lime and sugar crystal "salt." And yes, I am aware that the skull is usually associated with Dia de los Muertos, but I think he looks cute on this cake. :)
