This was for my Godson's 6th birthday. He requested a sea turtle themed cake because he had done a project on them for school. This took me a long time...it was my first time sculpting a cake. Anyone who knows sea turtles knows that this is NOT an exact replica. (Shell pattern/style...head, etc.) BUT...my Godson loved it and that's all I usually care about. He wanted to name it! :) The head and fins are made out of rice crispy treats - cake covered in buttercream & MMF.
