Hand carved giraffe for first birthday. We looked at many giraffe cakes and even cartoon clipart and finally drew out our own version. This is French Vanilla with Buttercream icing. Eyes are fondant. Smash cake is French Vanilla with Buttercream Icing. Party Hat is gumpaste with gumpaste/fondant decorations. The mom sent us a great picture of the birthday boy enjoying his smash cake. We loved seeing it smeared all over his face! It's why we do this!
