The very first farm cake I did was for this little boy's 1st birthday. This year his parents went with a construction theme. I had such fun making this cake!

It's a 6" & 9" cake with buttercream frosting. Decorations are fondant and gumpaste. Construction equipment and safety cone were formed from krispy cereal and then covered in fondant. Some of the rocks are fondant and some are chocolate candy rocks.

I looked at lots of construction cakes for inspiration, but the main one I really used was from Deb's Custom Cakes.
