This was my first attempt of a floating object cake. The cake was a 4 tier 6" diameter yellow cake covered with Guinness Beer Butter Cream Frosting. The foam at the top of the mug was the actual colour of the Guinness butter cream frosting. It is an exact colour match of the head of a Guinness beer. I used an actual beer can. We drilled a hole through the can close to the rim of the can and pushed a wooden dowel through it. I then covered the dowel with butter cream. I had a lot of fun making this and everyone enjoyed it.
