My good friend had her ultrasound and told the technician not to tell her the sex. The tech sent me a text telling me the sex so I could make this cake to surprise my friend, her husband and her daughter. When I was pregnant with my second son, we did the same thing only I had a bakery make mine for me- I gave them my ultrasound results and had them put pink or blue icing in the middle. I know that people have gender reveal parties but I love the idea of doing this to surprise yourself! I was SO excited to be a part of my friend doing it too!
