Giraffe Cake
This cake was ordered by the birthday girl's daughter. She said that her mum was always called "The Giraffe" so she thought it'd be funny to suprise her with this cake for her birthday.This is a (scatch) lemon and coconut cake, with cream cheese vanilla buttercream. Covered in fondant with gumpaste accents. The idea came from The Cake Store in the UK. I really like how this one turned out. The spots were painted on.
