Ok, so this was my first time using Marzipan and I loved it! I only used if for the soccer players skin because it works back into it's self very well! The rest of the soccer player is fondant. I used wire supports in his arms attached to a wooden dowel in his body that goes through to the bottom of the cakes. For the ball I cut out each piece out of fondant and assembled them together on the cake. No they did not fit perfectly but that is on the back side. I don't know if I'll to it that way again because as the cake settled the bottom ones started to separate, but that is covered with the scarf.
