My son's 5th grade class was having an auction with the theme "enough of winter", so I thought a flip flop cake would be perfect. I've seen many of these on CC, and I loved them. I used somone else's suggestion and gound up graham crakers for the sand. The shells and starfish are made from chocolate molds. I used vanilla buttercream for the bottoms of the shoes and fondant for the tops. I used buttercream to embroider the flowers on the shoes too. The flowers are fondant as well. TFL
