First Luster Dust/ribbon
I just got my luster dust from here. I have to do an anniversary cake in June... I used antique gold on homemade fondant. I was kinda disappointed, as it looked more brown than gold. I guess i need a few more layers of it, or need to mix it thicker to begin with... any suggestions? It was also my first time covering a square with fondant. I need practice there too.
I think it looks nice, but antique gold is a darker gold, it's supposed to have the look of being old.
This is probably too far gone to be of any help, but aminium is correct that antique gold is very dark. Maybe if you mixed in a little regular gold luster dust it would give you the shade you're looking for!
