For my DGD's 6th birthday cake: 8" Chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling, 10" pound cake with vanilla buttercream filling, covered with pale pink fondant. Inspired by the Crystal Fantasy Flowers & Cake by Alan Tetreault at GSA. Butterflies in gumpaste and gelatin, varying sizes and types. Butterflies on the fondant cake board were made using clear butterfly stamps found at craft stores and brushed with silver pearl dust and silver highlighter powder. Some of the butterflies were made using scrapbook punches. Crystal flowers were made using the edible sugar gems from GSA. Trellis effect made using the Trellis cutter by Patchwork Cutters per instructions by GSA. Thanks for looking!
