This was made for a 50th birthday/formal masquerade ball. I saw a cake Christopher Garren (MY HERO) made designed to reflect the style of a bride's wedding dress and LOVED the shape so we borrowed it! It took my sister and I an entire week to make this cake! It is 4 ft. tall and weighs around 100 lbs. Without a doubt the biggest and most elaborate cake we've made yet (I know it's not much for you "pros" - we're just hobby bakers :) Many firsts on this cake including carving and realistic sugar flowers.
