I am a culinary instructor and was asked to teach an entire class from appetizer through dessert using the color orange, since it was the birthday "girl's" favorite color. This is a two tiered cake, one tier is carrot cake, the other is a spice cake. Both are covered in hand-painted and embossed fondant, edible paper border, and royal icing flowers.
