Stacked Tres Leches

yes you can stack a Tres Leches cake! I made the Martha Stewart recipe and put it into two 8" pans. The cake rose during baking and then fell back but it turned out great. I did not use all the milk mixture - maybe only 1/3 of it. but the cake was moist and flavorful. I would have used strawberries and kiwis but could not find any good ones in the stores.

I put it in two 8 inch rounds. I then started soaking them as separate layers in the refrigerator. Then I stacked them and soaked some more. i did not use all the liquid and used the extra to just put around the cake slices as they were served.
